Job Title:                       Business Analyst

Reports To:                   VP of Development or Director of Program Mgmt or Product Owner Location:                           Lawrenceville and/or Gainesville, GA

FLSA Status:                Exempt

 

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for gathering, documenting and analyzing business needs/requirements for ProCareRx Line of Business and/or Software Application(s) assigned.  This person will play a key role in the design or modification of business and/or software systems used by ProCareRx.   They will interact with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, Other Project Team Members and Stakeholders to promote an efficient and effective Agile Development Process.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Requirements documentation, review, management and communication
  • Documents and refines Development Request, User Stories and/or Tasks
  • Stocks and grooms Development Backlog
  • Acts as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for software applications utilized by the LOB
  • Act as the single point of contact for application escalations from the business unit.
  • Creates and maintain product documentation
  • Assists the Product Owner in prioritizing features and answering team questions.
  • Assists the Scrum Master in Sprint Execution/Management
  • Solicits input from key Stakeholders
  • Answers questions from Development Team members
  • Attends business unit team and client calls as requested
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
  • Some QA may be required

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Business Administration preferred, but will consider applicants with equitable experience.
  • Able to use PowerPoint, Excel, Word and other Business Software
  • Must have experience with Medicare Part D
  • Spanish speaking/Bi-lingual preferred
  • Knowledge of SQL and/or Visio a plus
  • Prior healthcare applications experience is also a plus.
  • Able to restate complicated processes into simplified, understandable tasks
  • Able to work effectively under tight timelines and schedules.
  • Able to work effectively as a team player in a team environment
  • Able to sense the importance or impact of issues/situations and take appropriate action.
  • Self-motivated and able to consistently prioritize.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills,  inclusive of technical writing

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Requires sitting, standing, and occasional light lifting.
